Croeso i Fferm Bontnewydd / Welcome to Newbridge Farm, Meifod

Welcome to our family farm in Meifod, home to our very own Pick Your Own sunflower and pumpkin patch!

We grow everything right here on the farm, so you can pick your own sunflowers straight from the field or snap a pumpkin from the very vine it grew on. 🌻🎃

🌻 Sunflower Season

Our sunflower patch is open every weekend throughout August, from 10am–3pm. For just £1 per stem, you can wander through the flowers, enjoy the buzz of the bees and soak up a little bit of the countryside.

🎃 Pumpkin Season

Our pumpkin patch opens every weekend throughout October, from 10am–3pm, and we're open every day during half-term! From tiny pumpkins to small, medium and large varieties, we even grow some jumbo pumpkins for those looking for something extra special.

☕ Farm-Fresh Treats

There's more to enjoy than just the patch! Our catering pod serves barista coffee and hot drinks made with our own farm-fresh milk, alongside our delicious, homemade farm ice cream!! You can also treat yourself to cakes baked by Nia at Cegin Cae Ffynnon.

Grab a drink, take a seat and relax while the children enjoy the garden games beside the milk hut.

🐴 Meet Our Furry Friends

While you're visiting, don't forget to say hello to our furry friends! Our friendly donkeys and noisy pigs are always worth a visit, adding a little extra farmyard fun for the whole family.

🌿 Everything You Need to Know

There's no entry fee and no need to book — simply turn up and enjoy! We recommend wearing sensible footwear, as we're a working farm and the ground can get a little muddy, especially after rain.

We have different themes and experiences at the patch throughout the season, so make sure to follow us on Instagram and Facebook for the latest updates, opening information and a little glimpse of what's happening on the farm.

Don't miss out on our special events; Twilight picking & Scarefest.

We can't wait to welcome you to Newbridge Farm — see you in the patch! 🌻🎃
